The 2019 Foloi is a Roditis (although with 10% Viognier blended in), unoaked and coming in at 13% alcohol. A fine performance, this bright and crisp white is showing nicely. A little tense on the precise finish, it adds some sappy fruit and enticing aromatics. There's not a lot of concentration, but that's not the point here. This is most always a good value in a fresh white. It does well this year. I'd drink it young for best results—it shows great today. It might even hold a bit, although that is hardly the point here. Drink it young, no matter how long it theoretically lasts. There were 30,000 bottles produced.
