2019 KRIS Pinot Noir (750ml)

Pinot Noir from Sicily, Italy

Packaged in a screw-cap bottle, the Kris 2019 Pinot Noir is a Sicilian wine (from the IGT Terre Siciliane appellation), not a wine from Alto Adige. You definitely feel the Mediterranean heat. This Pinot Noir is ripe, and the floral aromas are switched out for tarry smoke and aromas that remind me of asphalt. The wine is spicy, slightly darker and more saturated too. It shows good freshness, though. Production is 150,000 bottles.
