Linear and tight chardonnay with steely and stony character. Some pears, too. Medium-bodied, clean and very fresh. No malo to this, so the acidity is really bright and energetic. Crisp. Drink now.

With grapes from Tupungato, direct pressing, fermentation in concrete eggs and ageing over lees, the 2019 Chardonnay Zuccardi Q is a pale yellow in the glass. The nose offers pear, apple and hazelnuts with a hint of lemon zest. Delicate with good acidity, a creamy texture and full but not clingy body, this is a French-inspired white made in Mendoza by Sebastián Zuccardi.
