The 2019 Beaune Montrevenots 1er Cru has an earthy nose that you might mistakenly think contains some stems. The palate is medium-bodied with a candied opening, a little chewy in the mouth. Orange zest and a sprinkling of white pepper on the rather burly finish. Fine.
