For a decisively indicative test of any given vintage in Chablis, a good starting point is in the cellars of Domaine Fevre. Established in 1959, this family-owned estate has consistently brought us the finest examples of Kimmeridgian-influenced wines, the estate expanding to its current holdings of 195 acres. With pristine parcels in each of the finest Grand and Premier Cru vineyards, plus a bevy of holdings across well-priced, consumer friendly entry-level sites, Fevre has something for everyone. Didier Seguier, head winemaker at Fevre, has done it once again in 2018.

A subtle hint of tangerine on the nose dissipates to leave ripe lemon brightness. The palate is concentrated, juicy and fresh, brimming with lemon-edged Mirabelle fruitiness. Chalky depth anchors everything in coolness despite the ripe, rounded vintage.
