Aged in (75% new) French oak, this blend of 55% Cabernet Sauvignon, 19% Malbec, 16% Syrah, 6% Petit Verdot, and 4% Viognier (with the Syrah and Viognier being co-planted and co-fermented) is ripe and inviting, with a nose of chocolate and boysenberry. The mouthfeel is sleek and graceful, met by resolved tannins and sensations of velvety coffee and umami salinity, while the finish is clean and fruit-filled, with a bloom of jasmine and violets.
