Like the 2017, 2018 was a year of bountiful harvest in Oregon. Sadly the first vintage Patty was not directly involved with her unexpected loss in 2017. Patty was one of Oregon’s most gifted and intuitive winemakers who passed on much of her insight and happy to share it. The Patricia Green Winery, located next door to Beau Freres Winery in the Ribbon Ridge Appellation of the Willamette Valley, was purchased in 2000 by Patty Green and Jim Anderson, great friends and business partners. Jim explains, "What she had and certainly one of the things I learned from her was a natural, holistic and encompassing view of agriculture and winemaking intertwined together." With the foundation set with sources and style, the 2018 Patricia Green Pinot Noir Reserve is a masterful blend of several vineyard sites and a great follow up to the 2016 (93WS – #39 Top 100) and 2017 (93WS). 2018 Is another lovely Patty Green Pinot, fruit forward, pure. Just released, give it time to open up.

Offers refinement and presence, with expressive raspberry and pomegranate flavors, laced with fresh violet and orange blossom notes, building richness toward polished tannins. Drink now through 2027. 4,975 cases made.

92 points, Tim Fish, Wine Spectator (Mar 2020)

Elegantly balanced fruit with lovely aromatics which will gain as its an early release. Purity is a Patty hallmark, lovely Pinot Noir. Spice and earth tones with a lovely finish.
