Classic and artisanal winemaking with some of the best situated vineyard sites within Vire-Clesse, Pascal Bonhomme is turning out wines that set the region's standard. Pascal harvests these 60+ year old vines completely by hand and vinifies meticulously using a most gentle pressing. His estate is a mere six acres with most of the wine sold at the cellar door. Pascal parted ways with the family domaine Andre Bonhomme in 2002 to do things his way. His artisanal approach most refreshing. The wine, seriously good, and unfortunately, just not enough of it.

Stellar once again, old vine intensity, concentration, and great terroir expression. Among the finest wine of the region tasted so far.

93 points, Bob Sprentall, B-21 Proprietor (Sep 2020)

A throw back to classic and artisanal wine making, Pascal Bonhomme has some of the best situated sites in Vire-Clesse and he makes every effort in his vines to convey that in the bottle. Vines between 60 and 65 years old. Entirely hand harvested. 1/5 of the cuvee is fermented and aged in older barrel.
