A certified organic wine, the Cordero di Montezemolo 2018 Barolo Enrico VI is a wine of impressive length and intensity. There is a uniquely bright or lifted quality to the bouquet that draws its energy from bright red and purple fruits, aniseed, ginger, rusty nail and candied violets. This is a medium-weight Barolo with above-average fruit weight and a very long mouthfeel. It is poised to improve beautifully with cellar age.

This red draws you in with enticing aromas of pure cherry, flowers and spices. Adds details of tar, leather and licorice on the palate, backed by fine tannins and bright acidity. Very harmonious, ending with echoes of fruit and toasted spices. Shows plenty of finesse. Best from 2025 through 2043. 500 cases made.

A deep, rich nose of dried berries, cherries and dates, bound together by thick spice and nutshell notes. Full-bodied with a silky, flavorful palate and plenty of very fine, polished tannin. Long finish that’s destined to grow with time. From organically grown grapes. Exceptional for the vintage. Lovely to taste now, but best from 2025.
