We always love this idiosyncratic cabernet franc; this year, the essence-like, primary-fruited nose comes complete with sea-urchin, iodine and oyster-shell character to add to overtones of lavender, violets and citrus. Medium-bodied, soft and fruity on the palate, yet with great depth of herbal and mineral flavors. Very tangy and acidity-driven. Wonderful to drink now.
