Some real complexity and flare on the nose, which displays a wealth of oregano, sage, forest floor, blackcurrants and citrus. The full-bodied palate is also very serious, weaving ornately through a tapestry of fine-grained tannins; the finish is polished and long. A very well-made Montepulciano that blows many others out of the water, but at an amazing price! Drink from 2021.
