Some people claim that Languedoc-Roussillon Pinot Noir often fails to live up to the promise of its name. As winemakers, we strongly disagree. But our Pinot Noir is unusual in two ways. First, we insist on grapes from cool grapeyards in Villalier-Malves. Second, we add just a touch of strawberryish Grenache from the hills of Caunes-Trausse. This adds complexity to the raspberry notes of the Pinot. And the result is an award-winning wine.
