Currants, flowers, sandalwood and crushed stone. Some cocoa. Medium to full body and linear, tight tannins. Bright and fresh. Energetic. Shows serious tension and focus. Excellent finish. Drink after 2022.

Early picking and the gentle winemaking touch of Francisco Baettig have produced a wine of commendable focus and refinement. Marrying Cabernet Sauvignon with 33% divided between Malbec, Carmenère, Petit Verdot and Cabernet Franc, this has his classic aromas of Mediterranean herbs, plum, black cherry and cassis fruit, granular tannins and impressive palate length.
