The 2017 Dogajolo is born in a vineyard site that is planted to Sangiovese, Cabernet Sauvignon and other indigenous grapes. This field blend results in a wine that gleams bright with fresh primary fruit, followed by simple lines and easy-drinking appeal. This is the perfect bottle for takeout pizza or pasta. Dark cherry and cassis appear generously on the finish. Production is huge with 800,000 bottles made, and this accounts for the wine's affordable price.

Carpineto's 2017 Dogajolo is an absolutely delicious Sangiovese/Cabernet Sauvignon blend. This fruity, everyday red offers terrific quality for the money, with lovely red berry character and floral accents that add to its considerable appeal.
