The 2015 Rocca di Frassinello is powerful, sumptuous and deeply expressive. An exotic mélange of raspberry jam, spice, new leather, chocolate, tobacco and grilled herbs gives the 2015 its decidedly flamboyant personality. This rich, heady coastal Tuscan red will appeal most to readers who enjoy racy, bold wines. The oak needs to settle down, but there is certainly plenty to look forward to.

Aromas and flavors of mineral, black cherry, blackberry and tar highlight this rich, vibrant red. The tannins are well-integrated. Extends nicely on the finish. Sangioveto, Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon. Best from 2018 through 2025. 4,166 cases made.
