A dense and rich white with lots of lanolin, lemon curd and dried apple character. Full body, flavor finish. semillon with muscadelle and sauvignon.

The 2015 Les Charmes-Godard, Nicolas Thienpont's barrel-aged Sauvignon/Sémillon blend, is once again striking. Lemon peel, lime, white flowers and mint are all finely sculpted in this brisk, beautifully delineated white. I very much like the energy here, yet there is also plenty of texture to back things up. Les Charmes-Godard is a blend of equal parts Sauvignon Blanc and Sémillon fermented and aged in 500- liter barrels.
