The change here is impressive with bright and vivid aromas and flavors of tropical fruits, stones, and minerals. Underlying energy and intensity in this white. Full and flavorful.

93-94 points, James Suckling (Mar 2016)

There's alluring richness here, with an anise hint underscoring the yellow apple, white peach and verbena notes, gaining depth steadily with air. Offers a long, shortbread-enhanced finish.

90-93 points, Wine Spectator (2016)

The 2015 Larrivet Haut Brion Blanc, a blend of 80% Sauvignon Blanc and 20% Semillon, did not quite deliver the requisite complexity and vivacity on the nose compared to the likes of La Tour Martillac or Olivier this year. The palate is well balanced, however, with a keen thread of acidity, hints of tropical fruit with fine salinity on the finish. It actually finishes in better fashion than it begins.
