Coming from the lower part next to the street and the Mosel, the 2015 Erdener Prälat Riesling Auslese Gold Capsule was picked with a maximum of 30% of botrytis at 110° Oechsle in the end of October. This Riesling offers a concentrated and fresh bouquet of citrus aromas and tropical fruits along with stony flavors. Rich, piquant and concentrated, this is a very lush and stimulating Auslese with 121 grams of residual sugar and a total acidity of 8.6 grams per liter. The wine is pure, piquant and fresh on the palate, really vibrating and with a mouth-watering piquancy and salinity. Great grip, tension and complexity. (375-milliliter bottles)
