A 60-40 Grenache-Syrah blend from near Sarrians, the 2015 Vacqueyras combines lovely ripe cherries with tarry, plummy notes. It's medium to full-bodied, with a long, supple finish and should drink well for up to decade.

Leading off the 2015s from bottle, the 2015 Vacqueyras is another great wine from the appellation, and Vacqueyras is an undeniable success in this vintage. Possessing darker fruits, peppery herbs, licorice and a touch of rocky minerality, it’s medium to full-bodied, has impressive purity of fruit and good acidity. It’s going to drink nicely through 2025.

A laid-back style with ripe raspberry and red cherry fruits, earthy nuances and gently herbal elements, too. The tangy palate has plenty of fine-cut tannins. Fruit flavours roll riper here adding tobacco and figs to the redder fruits. Drink now.
