The 2015 Morgon Corcelette Vieilles Vignes that comes from Bouland's precious 80-year-old vines possesses a more expressive bouquet than the Morgon Bellevue with shimmering dark cherry and cassis fruit that explode from the glass. The palate is well balanced with supple and ripe tannin that lend this a sensual texture. The acidity is finely tuned here, a touch of spice develops towards the finish that demonstrates fine structure and matière. Give this 12-24 months and you will have a superb Morgon on your hands.

Brilliant ruby. Intense dark berry, violet and peppery spice scents, along with hints of licorice and succulent herbs. Alluringly sweet and concentrated, offering juicy black raspberry and boysenberry flavors and a touch of bitter chocolate that emerges slowly. Dusty tannins build steadily on the finish, giving shape to the densely packed, sweet dark fruit.
