The medium ruby-purple colored 2014 Bannockburn Pinot Noir has expressive black cherries, black raspberries and crushed plum notes with touches of lavender, dried herbs and cinnamon. Medium-bodied, it's more savory in the mouth than the nose suggests with lovely earthy / forest floor layers subduing the fruit and carrying over long into the chewy finish.

Solidly built, this is a linebacker of a pinot noir, tough in its structure, showing its oak aging in heady walnut scents and firm, wood-influenced tannins. If you open it now, you’ll need major protein, like long-braised beef, to soften it up.

Fresh loamy earth notes and a whiff of smoke meld into the fleshy plum and black cherry flavors. Plenty of spice and clove details linger. Drink now through 2026. 9,600 cases made.
