The 2014 Lefkos Domaine Hatzimichalis, the estate white, is 50% Sauvignon Blanc with 30% Malagousia and 20% Robola, all unoaked. It comes in at 13.5% alcohol. A rather consistent bargain from year to year, this is in the summer white category--it's always fresh and lively, but never thick, big or bombastic. It has very respectable concentration for the level, a pleasing finish and an interesting medley of flavors from the grapes involved. Despite being 50% Sauvignon Blanc, the Sauvignon is balanced (or muted) by the other components of the blend. This should be in great shape when summer 2016 rolls around, but make sure to drink these young and fresh, no matter how long they theoretically hold. That's what they are designed for.
