Deep, rich and lushly spiced, with powerful flavors of dark plum, dried blackberry, licorice and dark currant that are framed by medium-grained tannins. Minerally and creamy midpalate, offering a long finish of slate and dark chocolate. Drink now through 2023. 710 cases made.

Love the aromas of stones, dried violets and dark fruit here. Full body with juicy fruit and a flavorful finish. Drink now.

Bright, saturated ruby. Blackberry, licorice and menthol on the nose, complemented by cedary oak and a pungent mineral quality. Extremely smooth in texture but youthfully brooding, with inky black fruit and medicinal menthol dominating today. This structured, backward wine has a firm tannic spine that calls for another year or two of cellaring. Classically dry and saline, it doesn't quite come alive today but it possesses bulletproof fruit for the future. Became a bit creamier with 24 hours in the recorked bottle, suggesting that cellaring may bring more pliancy.
