Round and supple, exuding black cherry, black currant, leather, coffee and spice flavors. The civilized tannins are coated with flesh as this cruises to a long, kaleidoscopic aftertaste. Best from 2018 through 2032. 175 cases made.

Full deep red. Captivating perfume of raspberry, iron, white pepper, dried rose and white flowers. Intensely flavored and vibrant, showing outstanding inner-mouth energy to its flavors of red fruits, flowers and saline minerality. The long finish boasts superb floral lift. Christophe Perrot-Minot keeps this wine in a reduced state in barrel, noting that it has a tendency to open much faster than the Mazoyères-Chambertin.
