The 2010 Chambolle-Musigny Les Amoureuses is initially rather cool and inward, then blossoms gradually with time in the glass. It is a beautifully poised, centered wine endowed with tremendous focus and inner calm. Red berries, spices, crushed flowers and saline notes all continue to build as the wine works its way to the boisterous finish. This is another totally entrancing wine. Anticipated maturity: 2020-2030.

94-96 points, Robert Parker's Wine Advocate (Issue # 199 - Feb 2012)

Purple-tinged red-ruby. Slightly reduced but nonetheless highly complex aromas of blackberry, licorice, menthol, violet and wild herbs, with a distinctly rocky quality adding another dimension. The palate offers a compelling combination of richness and verve, with sharp definition and luminosity to the flavors of cassis, crushed blackberry and minerals. The vibrant finish features firm, noble tannins and lovely rising perfume. With aeration, this only gained in complexity, revealing red cherry and a soil-driven saline nuance.

93-96 points, Stephen Tanzer's Int'l Wine Cellar (Jan/Feb 2012)
