Sweet licorice, chocolate and tobacco at first. Opens up with blueberries, dark plums and a steely mineral core. Full and really smooth texture. Velvety tannins and a wonderful long finish with a very attractive fruit. Enjoyable already but tannins will integrate further with time. Try in 2016.

Fleshy, with lots of intense blackberry, plum and boysenberry notes blended together and wound with licorice strips and singed alder wood. Solid grip through the finish has a slightly chewy feel now, but should soften soon enough. Best from 2015 through 2025. 3,333 cases made.
