Dark ruby in color, with beautiful aromas of currant, mint and crushed berries. Complex and subtle. Full-bodied, with ultrapolished tannins and gorgeous fruit. This goes on and on. Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc.

The top of the line 2005 Greppicaia is (insert). In keeping with the cooler growing season it remains a fresh, vibrant wine, with attractive notes of dark fruit, violets, minerals, chocolate and spices that flow from its structured frame. This sexy red needs some bottle age but it is very promising. Anticipated maturity: 2010-2018.
