Magically delicious I don’t know about but it is incredibly pleasing to every sense. For the Prosecco and Asti drinkers for sure, this lies in between and far outside of that realm too. This is made from gamay from the Alps, so there is that high and racy red fruit aroma with blueberry and wisps of balsamic, mouthwatering and soothing at the same time. A bit of mineral inwardly washed over with some residual sugar roundness. Slightly sweet, all upfront, and very clean finishing. Excellent as an aperitif or with an afternoon luncheon of cold chicken, beggars banquet style. 7.8% alc

Made from 100% Gamay, the non-vintage Caprice de Rocailles reveals a delicate rose color as well as classic raspberry and strawberry notes intertwined with a hint of watermelon, medium body and a zesty mouthfeel that perfectly balances a slight residual sweetness with terrific acidity.
