Shows aromas of very ripe fruit and sweet tobacco, with hints of earth and spices. Full-bodied and medium sweet, with round, velvety tannins and a long, fruity finish. Likeable for its soft texture. Best after 2016. Tasted twice, with consistent notes.

Primary, fresh fruit flavors of pomegranate and cherries fill the front of this wine, then fall into a powerful black hole of tannin and alcohol. The fruit is soft and juicy, the tannin hard and gripping. This needs time to meld and will likely show best around 15 to 20 years from the vintage.
