A mouth-watering medley of fruit, sweet, and spice emerge on the nose, with tendrils of cherry cola, Gala apple, cinnamon stick, raspberry Linzer cookie, and cotton candy floating out of the glass. Spice is all-encompassing on the palate, which is hot, but not too much so—a feat given the high-strength ABV. More bright berry notes appear, balanced nicely by dark-roast drip coffee, barrel char, wood spice, rooibos tea, and coffee cake. The finish sees more of that spiced cinnamon coffee cake and some cherry, and while it has some teeth to it, it never bites.
