Purity Vodka was recently awarded Gold at the Vodka Masters and Travel Retail Masters competition in Cannes. The vodka, which is produced at Ellinge Castle in Sweden, won Gold and Master awards in seven out of seven categories. Purity Vodka scored the maximum number of points in the competition’s organic category, 100 out of 100, something that has never happened in the history of the competition.
100 points, Vodka Masters, Organic (2011)
Creamy and smooth with thick texture, notes of vanilla and some nice heat on the finish; very clean, mellow and lovely.
92 points, Tasting Panel (Mar 2010)
Packaged in a luxe bottle with diamond-like facets, Purity is made from organic wheat and barley, and distilled a whopping 34 times. Remarkably bright in appearance, this vodka is lightly sweet on the nose and palate, mildly citrusy and has a crisp, almost effervescent feel.
91 points, Wine Enthusiast (Oct 2013)
Clear. Mild aromas of pastry, anise, and dried fruit with a buoyant dryish medium body and a creamy custard, peppery spice, honeycomb, and chalk finish. A solid choice for upscale cocktails.
90 points, Beverage Testing Institute (Oct 2012)
Purity Vodka continues to win top honors in the most prestigious international spirit competitions. In 2012, the brand won in multiple categories during the Vodka Masters Awards, sweeping the overall vodka category and taking the top title of Grand Vodka Master -- the first brand to earn the title of “Vodka of the Year” two years in a row. In addition, Purity Vodka scored the maximum number of points in the competition’s organic category --100 out of 100-- an unprecedented achievement in the competition’s history.
