This extra pale ale is meant to be lighter bodied and lower in alcohol than its non-extra brethren, but don't mistake that to mean it's lighter on flavor. The brew is aggresively dry-hopped to display more fresh hop characteristics, and those aromas and flavors certainly take center stage. Notes of pressed yellow florals, fresh pine needles, grapefruit rind and grass abound, although accents of stone fruit, biscuit dough and hay unfold on the medium-weight palate. It finishes clean and somewhat short, making this a refreshing option for warm weather enjoyment. USDA-certified organic.
