Lots of floral notes, vanilla creaminess, malted biscuits, and orange cake aromas. It’s elegant, verging on delicate, but a pretty whisky nevertheless. Clean and pure on the palate, with Golden Delicious apple, honey, star fruit, nectarine, apricot, clove, pepper, chocolate-dipped shortbread, and orange. It grows richer the longer it’s held in the mouth, with flavors of egg tarts and vanilla custard. The oily, mouth-coating finish shows a distinct citrus creaminess.
