Sweet, fruity and unexpected – the Iberian Series combines our traditionally Irish Single Pot Still process with the tastes and aromas of Malaga, Spain. The 5th internation in the famed Redbreast Iberian Series sees Master Blender David McCabe use Moscatel Wine casks from the hills of Málaga, Spain to finish our signature Single Pot Still Irish Whiskey. Spanish Moscatel is known for its floral aromas accompanied with pineapple, peach and notes of honey. The wine is aged in American Oak for 24 months before the casks are emptied and transferred to the Midleton Distillery for aging. Redbreast’s Single Pot Still Irish Whiskey has been maturing in these casks since June 2024.
