The nose is classic cooked tropical fruit – banana, mango, and papaya – with a touch of herbaceous freshness, medium hogo funk, new rubber, butterscotch, and subtle wood spice. There’s a lifted mint note in the background that add a slightly medicinal edge. The palate is assertive in its texture, which provides a great foundation for big flavors of ripe tropical fruits and funk. The medium-weight mid-palate leaves room for dried citrus, Turbinado sugar, and orange peel that culminates in a vibrant, medium-length finish accented by kumquat and soft wood spices.
