This deep amber spirit, a blend of over 40 whiskies, has a sweet, deeply caramel scent, with a tinge of dried fruit. The flavor is oaky, smoky and dry; a little ice water mellows it nicely and coaxes out some burnt-caramel and raisiny notes. Lingering, moderately smoky finish.

Pale amber color. Attractive aroma of toasted grain, delicately smoky peat, dried fruits, and spices follow through on silky entry to a dryish medium-to-full body with very good depth and notes of buttery praline and roasted spiced nuts. Finishes with a gentle fruit, buttercream, anise, and mossy river stone accented fade. A delicious and masterfully balanced blend.
