Candied pineapple, raspberry tart, and marzipan on the nose provide a welcome entry to this fruit-forward whisky. Its overall fruitiness veers into overripe territory, giving it a sweet and slightly funky aroma. The palate is honeyed and peppery, with the fruit flavors receding into the background. A little water brings out citrus and toasted oats. The finish is malty and sweet with baked apples and cinnamon bread.
