Part of Crown Royal’s more upscale-but- affordable Reserve series, this is full of fruit on the nose: peach rings and clementine take center stage and dovetail with a dollop of honey, cereal bar, and vanilla extract. The well-spiced palate, accented by its sumptuous mouthfeel, has plenty of easygoing vanilla cream, and the sugar, spice, and everything nice finish means that, while this won’t take you for a crazy ride, it’s one you can enjoy.
