This is a blend of chardonnay, pinot noir and pinot meunier from California-wide sites; it undergoes its secondary fermentation in bottle to produce a delightful sparkler: powdery, lemony and bright on the nose, with a lively mousse and sweet citrus scents. The flavors are mildly sweet and bracing, framed more by minerality than by demonstrative acidity. A steal for celebrating.
