The 2024 Malbec Reserva, from Luján de Cuyo and the Uco Valley, opens with slightly dark fruit, ripe plum, fine oak and a touch of violet. It is juicy and plush on the palate, with polished tannins and an enveloping flow lightly tightened by mid-level structure. Attractive and ripe, the 2024 marks a return to the estate’s more mature style after the cooler 2021-2023 run.

Expressive fruit with elderberries, violets, blueberries, licorice and black cherries. Medium-bodied and very fresh with a nicely fluid palate. Well-balanced, juicy and soft-grained. A blend of more than 100 parcels from eight estate-owned vineyards, mostly from the Uco Valley. An attractive wine to drink now or over the next few years.

One of the producer’s larger volume reds, the 2024 Malbec Reserva is sourced from both Lujan de Cuyo and Valle de Uco, from estate-grown fruit, picked on the early side to provide optimal freshness and fruity flavor. The crisp, aromatic profile works, with rounded tannins providing an approachability and early drinking window, the oak a complement that never distracts. Medium-bodied, it’s bursting in black cherry and dark chocolate. Drink now.
