The 2024 Etna Bianco Santo Spirito opens with an elegant bouquet of white flowers, almond paste, freshly sliced nectarines and gingery spice. This is soothingly round and supple, with a stern mineral core to balance as ripe orchard fruits swirl across almost oily textures. The 2024 finishes with striking length, slightly chewy and firm. A bump of residual acidity maintains amazing energy on the close.

The Tenuta delle Terre Nere 2024 Etna Bianco Santo Spirito is 100% Carricante with aromas of Meyer lemon, nectarine, honeysuckle and an exotic hint of guava. This is a terrific buy; in fact, all these wines offer outstanding value. Fermentation takes place at low temperatures in stainless steel, followed by nine months of maturation in steel. Production is 5,000 bottles.

The nose gusts with fresh, floral aromas of clean laundry, white flowers and salt air. Flavors of lemon, lime and crushed rocks come together to create a palate which is savory and salty, but very tart. Acid tingles the teeth.

A tightly meshed white, with structured acidity creating a mouthwatering frame for notes of yellow apple, pear, grapefruit pith, blanched almond, rosemary and spring blossoms. Long and salty, with mineral drive on the racy finish. Best from 2028 through 2038. 460 cases made, 375 cases imported.
