The 2024 Cotes de Tablas wafts up with a darkly floral blend of crushed black raspberries, sage, white pepper and cedary spice. It is lifted in feel, with perfumed wild berry fruits and tactile mineral tones offset by a slight citrus twang toward the close. Pleasantly firm and chewy, this leaves edgy tannins offset by a bump of residual acidity that keeps the mouth watering for more.

A light-hued and refined red, with earthy and fresh herb details to the crisp Rainier cherry and Santa Rosa plum flavors, while a wave of slate lends tension but is quickly resolved on the finish around structured, chalky tannins. Grenache, Syrah, Counoise and Mourvèdre. Best after 2027. 1,490 cases made.
