The 2024 Boggina B is one of the best wines I have tasted from Petrolo. Aromatic and pliant, with superb persistence, the 2024 dazzles from start to finish. Lemon confit, marzipan, white flowers and mint race across the palate with captivating energy. There’s a hint of reduction that adds character, but unlike some vintages that does not dominate.

One of Italy’s best whites, with aromas of honeysuckle, lavender, chalk, salt and dried lemons, as well as some apples and orange blossoms. Medium-bodied, showing firm texture and a racy finish, turning lemony and limey with honey and nuts. Love the texture and length. A little cloudy, but don’t worry about it. From vines planted in the 1970s. Drink or hold.
