The Carillon names goes back 500 years in Puligny-Montrachet, and Louis Carillon was one of the reference-point names in the appellation in latter part of the 20th century and the 2000s. When his sons Jacques and François split the domaine in 2010, two new benchmark Carillon domaines were born, each with the world-class pedigree to carry the Carillon name into the 21st century.
