Crisp and refreshing, opening with typical, moderately pronounced aromas of lemon peel and nectarine. The balance on the palate is satisfying, with fresh acidity, moderate density of extract and good length. A blend of several parcels of organically grown grapes, fermented and aged on the lees in tank for nine months. This will drink well on release.

From 50- to 70-year-old vines, the 2024 Chablis Vieilles Vignes de Sainte Claire has an appealing, finely delineated nose with just a hint of praline infusing the citrus fruit. The palate is fresh on the entry with crisp acidity, moderate weight and a mix of cooking apple and freshly cut pear notes leading to a lightly spiced finish. This is ready to go and will give four to six years of drinking pleasure.
