Own-rooted and planted in the 1890s, the vines here shut down each day due to the windy conditions. Beautifully floral, with red roses, mint leaves and sea spray. Fresh red berries. There’s ample structure here, with 10% Carignan, along with Mourvèdre and Alicante Bouschet.

The 2024 Evangelho Heritage Wine is quite the powerhouse. Dark-toned fruit, gravel, incense, licorice, dried herbs, black olive, chocolate and cloves saturate the palate. This potent, explosive Heritage Wine has so much to offer. The blend of 80% Zinfandel, 10% Mourvèdre and 10% Carignan works so well. This is a totally captivating wine from Bedrock.
