The harmonious and approachable red 2023 Manoella Tinto was produced with grapes from 43-year-old vines, four varieties (60% Touriga Nacional, 25% Touriga Franca, 10% Tinta Roriz and 5% Tinta Francisca) but still mixed in the vineyard in Quinta de Manoella on rich soils. It's a cooler place because of the forest around it, and the wine has a moderate 13.5% alcohol, a pH of 3.6 and 5.6 grams of acidity. It's medium-bodied and balanced, with fine tannins. It matured in well-seasoned, neutral oak barrels for 16 months. 76,435 bottles produced. It was bottled in March 2024.

A sleek red, fragrant with violet, wild thyme, sweet paprika and mineral notes. This is fresh and deftly balanced, integrating taut, fine-grained tannins with a pure beam of ripe blackberry and black currant fruit that echoes on the finish. Touriga Nacional, Touriga Franca, Tinta Roriz and Tinta Francisca. Drink now through 2036. 6,554 cases made, 500 cases imported.

Firm tannins balance with rich blackberry fruits in a wine that also has a shaft of fresh acidity. It is a ripe wine, fruit with a mineral edge and a satisfying black cherry aroma. Drink the wine from 2028.
