Two thirds domaine in Les Gorges de Narvaux and Les Chaumes de Narvaux, the rest Narvaux Dessous from purchased grapes from vines they manage. Always last to be bottled as it really takes time to express itself. A little lime tint to the lemon yellow. This is indeed less expressive now than the Casse Tetes, but the surge of fruit at the back confirms how good this wine will become. Drink from 2028-2032. Tasted Oct 2024.

The 2023 Meursault Les Narvaux has an intriguing nose featuring yellow fruit, melted candle wax and lemongrass aromas opening in the glass. The palate is well balanced with perhaps the best acidic spine of the three Meursault Villages from Girardin. It certainly has impressive tension with decent length on the finish. This nudges Premier Cru in quality.

A fresh, cool and airy nose freely reveals its aromas of just sliced apple and pear and plenty of citrus influence. The super-sleek and beautifully textured medium-bodied flavors also flash ample minerality on the youthfully austere, clean and agreeably dry finale where a touch of youthful austere eventually emerges. This is also very good and worth your interest. *Outstanding, Top Value*
