The 2023 Chardonnay opens with beautifully pure, fresh aromas of jasmine, citrus rinds and orchard blossoms. On the palate, it displays a live-wire, tangy energy that carries through the zesty, mineral-drenched finish. This punches far above its weight and would do so as an appellation wine, much less a regional one.

The 2023 Chardonnay (Santa Barbara County) is classic Santa Barbara all the way, with bright yellow fruits, flickers of spice and inner creaminess, all articulated without any extra weight. Clean and precise, there's an extra measure of minerality here that is quite a pleasant surprise for an entry-level wine.
