Dark purple/magenta-colored, the 2023 Barbera D'Alba was tasted from tank right before bottling. It offers fruity notes of preserved blackberries, candied violets, and wet stone, and on the palate, it has a finessed, medium-bodied feel, with fresh acidity, juicy fruit, and a clean, fresh finish. It’s very attractive and will drink well over the next few years.
